I’m back home, able to walk on my own without fear of falling. Thanks to the Bushwick Center team, I have my independence back. Not only that, but they gave me tips on diet and exercise—ways to control my diabetes going forward.

At first, I could barely get across the room, but the Bushwick Center team was patient and encouraging. I stayed there for a little more than a month, but I’m back home now, stronger than ever!
